The Stargate Atlantis movie keeping me sane
The series is winding down with only two episodes to go, one airing minutes from now. I’ll be watching live this time, because I can’t stand not to knowing the show has so little left of it. Already I’m anxious for the movie, and I sincerely hope one simple tv movie isn’t all that’s in store for the Atlantis team after the final episode.
I’ll keep my ears and eyes open for news about the possibility of other future movies, you can be sure. Stargate is a franchise I love. I don’t want to see it end, but I’m not sure what’s in store with Stargate Universe.
What I’ll miss most and what I most want to see in the new Stargate Universe series.
- Humor
- Science
- Action
- Geeks/Nerds
- Romance (because I really dug the McKay romances and I’ve always had a soft spot for Jackson’s dedication to Sharé)
If I don’t get these things, in the proper proportions, I’m not sure how much I’ll be able to enjoy the newest spinoff of my beloved Stargate.
And I certainly still don’t see why Stargate Atlantis had to end to give it to us!

The last episode was awesome! But the episode Las Vegas was a desapointing, it doesn’t has the quality of the others!

I didn’t think Vegas was disappointing at all! I did think it was different, but it was kind of cool. I loved the camera work on the episode and I love how it seems to have set up the next (final) episode of Atlantis. I haven’t seen the last episode yet, but I can hardly wait for it to come on!

I too didn’t like the vegas one. The style of it with the camera work and sound reminded me so much of CSI Las Vegas. I’m not a fan of CSI plus why did they feel like they had to copy CSI??? Stargate Atlantis isn’t a spin off to CSI. its a spin off to stargate SG-1. that involves a lot of sci-fi stuff like space and lasers and that. not a cop lol yeah, i know it was from a parrell universe and that but still, they could of made that parrell universe to be different from CSI. Make it like buffy the vampire Slayer if anything. just not CSI. but really can’t wait for the movie to be out. oh does anybody know when the movie will be out?

It probably helped that I have never watched an episode of CSI Las Vegas. I think I’ve watched one episode of the original CSI, but I really can’t remember if I finished it or not.
I love the parallel universe episodes, but I admit, this one was unique and probably didn’t appeal to not just you, but a lot of people.

I though that Vegas was great myself. Agree about the camera work, the tie in to E20 but most of all I think it had a great sound track that realy set the sceens in the show.
